Even though I spend a great deal of my time in outdoor activities - hiking, biking, skiing - I believe in the importance of balance in your life. Music provides the perfect balance for me!
In the beginning, it was dance lessons and performance. Then some piano. At age 60, I decided to try the flute; and with weekly lessons, finally became proficient enough to join the Sequim Community Orchestra. For me, it has been a thrill to play with other musicians in a "real" orchestra. I have met so many outstanding people, especially the current flute section!
